I recently got a Lenovo P16 laptop with i9 19250HX CPU and nVidia RTX a4500 GPU. The i9 12950HX also has the integrated Intel GPU.
When I run a project that uses VEPro I have to disable the nVidia GPU or else I get CRC errors on the USB connection to my RME Babyface Pro FS. These are not the usual ASIO errors that show up as overloads on the Cubase ASIO/real-time meter; that meter shows no problems. Instead, these are CRC errors that show up in the Babyface control dialog. Of course, they also show up as crackles in the audio.
So the audio processing is fine but the audio transfer is getting messed up when I use VEPro. I can use VEPro with the same project using onboard audio and there are no issues when the nVidia GPU is enabled. I've never run into an issue like this before - somehow the USB transfer is being corrupted when I use VEPro with the nVidia GPU enabled.
Can anyone think what the issue might be?
Thanks in advance,
