  • [SOLVED] Instruments Pro channels in old VEP Server projects won't load - iLok

I recently did the switch to iLok, but I'm running with both the iLok and the eLicenser attached, and both libraries on disk.  I'm trying to open old projects in VEP 7 Server (v7.0.1120).  Kontakt channels are fine.  Synchron channels are fine.  But any channel that used to be VI Pro doesn't open.  And VEP's Plug-in list doesn't show VI Pro, only Vienna Instruments.  However if I create a Vienna Instruments channel it comes up with the label "Vienna Instruments Pro".  Which name are we using?

I'm guessing that VEP is not understanding these old VI Pro channels because the software no longer goes by that name?  But I do see a plug-in in my Components folder called Vienna Instruments Pro (v 2.6.99), along with Vienna Instruments (v 6.6.99).

I can create new VI channels and they seem to work fine, but I need to be able to open old projects.  Please help.

  • Ignore my previous post.  The problem was the my system was still running the old pre-iLok version of VEPro.  Once the iLok version was installed, everything loaded correctly.
