    I don't know what it is, or what it does, but it opens itself every time I try to open a new project in my DP 11.

    HOW DO I SWITCH IT OFF?

    These are the msgs I get every time, eLicenser hangs and I have to force quit

    Yes please I have the same problem since last update...

    I am not forced to quit the app but it's still annoying.

    in Windows its a program file : C:\ProgramData\VSL\VSLHelper\VSLHelper.exe

    I am not sure if you should mess with it, but you could find the OSX lcoation with the task-manager as well and rename it? Just a guess - without knowing what it actually does ;-)

    Hi, 

    The VSL Helper is a background helper app that takes care of the conversion of your projects from eLicenser to iLok, without the necessity to have your eLicenser licenses available. 

    It doesn't do any harm, but of course you can terminate it if you like.

    I have moved all my libs to Ilok and i have still the VSL Helper running

    The VSL Helper converts eLicenser-protected data (old projects, presets, etc.) when using them with the new samples & software. You saved your old projects before using iLOK - therefore, it's still eLicenser-encrypted until you re-save it.

    VSLHELPER.EXE is failing to start because QT6 dlls are missing. It says to "reinstall" to get the dlls but I don't know what exactly to "reinstall".

    I updated my VI Pro and now I can't load any of my pre-ILOK projects. (apparently)

    How do I fix this?

    Hi! Do you have access to the Synchron Player? For example, after adding one of the HELLO FREE instruments. (Re)-Installing Synchron Player should not only fix all QT6 files for the VSL Helper, but also the VI Pro Player. If not, please get in touch with us via email: support@vsl.co.at
