  • HI Dietz,

I removed the crash report and sent it. to support

I am hoping that someone can shed some light as I am deciding wether to go back to big sur or not , which is not straight forward.

    Thanks,

  • Yup same here - fresh install of Monterey - Logic and MIR PRO - funny, the plugin loads in Logic - and it plays and sounds in Logic - but when you click the MIR icon in the menu bar OR try to go to the app it crashes faster than kids on sugar after 8pm.

    Any fix for this?

  • Hi Karmand, Sorry to hear that you're facing problems. I made VSL's developers already aware of the issue. You are a bit stingy with details, however. ;-) Is this on Apple Silicon? Are you already on iLok or still on eLicenser? TIA for any further information!

  • I believe there is, I emailed support and got a reply very quickly.

I went back to Big Sur because my vsl library is huge and it would take many many days to download the library so I could use ilok. Also theres an issue with monterey and using a 2nd monitor. All in all Ill update when I have faster internet.

    Good uck!

  • Same problem here. Freshly delivered Mac Studio with Monterey 12.3.1 and Logic Pro X, MIR crashes instantly when I try to open the window.

On my MacBook M1 with Monterey 12.0.1 MIR works. Too bad it does not have enough computing power for what I need... :(

    VSL support has been informed.
