Hi All,
I'm rather new to setting up a VEP7 template, but have done plenty of research to try to figure out if this is possible. I apologize if this has already been asked here in the past, however, I couldn't find any recent information regarding this. I'm switching over to VEP7 after using a massive track enable/disable template in Cubase for years.
I am setting up a template that is completely uncoupled and preserved, however, the template is most likely going to exceed the amount of RAM I currently have (128GB). Some samples cannot be purged (thanks SINE player), so there's no way for me to optimize this anymore besides to disable instances of VEP7 that I am not using in a particular Cubase session.
Is there a quick way for me to automate enabling/disabling instances in VEP7 from within Cubase, so that the correct instances are enabled when loading a project? Certain instances will always be enabled in every project and will not require automation, but instances with instruments that I use on rare occasion I would like to be able to automate being enabled if possible.
If I am approaching this in the wrong way, or if there are alternative solutions please let me know as well. I would prefer not to have anything that is not uncoupled from the session though, as it defeats the purpose of me using VEP7.
Thank you!
