    We just installed a new server. It's a greenfield Windows 10 Enterprise installation with VEP 7.0.1120 installed. Straight away when we try to create a new instance VEP crashes.

    System specs:

    • HPE ProLiant DL560 Gen8
    • 4x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-4620 @ 2.20GHz (4 x 8 = 32-cores total)
    • 768GB RAM
    • Windows 10 Enterprise (10.0.19044 Build 19044) x64

    Graphics adapter:

    • Matrox G200 (onboard graphics)

    Could this have something to do with the (onboard) graphics adapter? I think it does support DirectX but no OpenGL? And is there a crash-log / stack dump somewhere that I can sent you guys?

    Ok, the issue is caused by the onboard GPU. After inserting a more advanced graphics card in one of the PCI-E slot the crash is gone.

    Case closed.
