Hello, First I would like to say how excited I am about becoming a Vienna Ensemble Pro user.
I hope to learn as much as humanly possible about the software but I do however have a specific question:
I'm currently preparing to mix several albums of original compositions and my mixing platform of choice is PreSonus Studio One which I very recently updated to version 5.5.
My primary computer is a 2018 Mac mini and my secondary is a 2015 Macbook.
It was advised to me that I could use VE Pro 7 to network both machines and run additional FX plugins from my Macbook inside Studio One which is running on my Mac mini.
Has anyone here had such success doing this with low latency within the Studio One environment?
I attempted to find videos on YouTube for this combo with no such luck.

Suggest you also pose this question on the VI Control forum here.
You'll often get a great response from experienced users.
Not that you won't get such a response here, there's just more activity there.

You are very welcome. I well remember my first foray onto that forum, and what a Godsend it has been for my progress in working with orchestral VST's.

Welcome Synth God,
Of course this will work with Studio One, like with any other DAW.
You can test it with our free key-less demo license of VE Pro.
1) Insert Vienna Ensemble Pro as a plug-in in Studio One and connect it with a running VE Pro Server.
2) Once this connection is established, insert a VE Pro Audio Input plug-in as FX plug-in on the track you'd like to send to VE PRO for processing, choose the audio channel you want to send on.
3) In Vienna Ensemble Pro, create an INPUT Channel and choose the corresponding Audio channel.
4) Insert your FX Plug-ins and make sure you are routing the audio signal back to your DAW as you want to.
Best,
Paul
