    Hi,

    I just installed the latest VEP 7 and it will not open.  I get the error message:

    "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

    This is on my PC Slave.  I am a Mac guy so the error message is foreign.

    Hi Aaron,

    Looks like you are missing some important Windows files. Please (Re)install these Microsoft Retributions (please install BOTH):

    - x86: vc_redist.x86.exe
    - x64: vc_redist.x64.exe

    Maybe you'll have to reinstall your VSL software again, afterwards - can't say for sure.

    That should get you back up and running.
