I'm running Cubase 11 Pro on a Win10 PC with intel Core i5 and 16GB RAM.
VEPro is installed on a remote server with 12 cores and 128GB RAM with 11 instances.
Even if there nothing playing the instances show a CPU load from 15% up to 75%.
The 75%-instance for example has just two instances of Kontakt running, one with 15 instruments from Pandora, the other one with 13 instruments from NOVO/FORZO/VENTO.
Multiprocessor support is diabled in Kontakt
I've been searching the web and the forum, but none of the suggested solutions worked.
number of buffers doesn't change anything, neuther the number of cores assigned.
Plugins in Cubase are configured with 10 audio inputs, 8 chanels of Midi and 64 outputs.
Network is 1Gb and working stable.
Currently the use of VEPro is very limited, because the threshould for crackling noise to appear is being reached quickly.
