  • [For REAPER Users] Reaticulate bank files (articulation maps) for Synchron Woodwinds

If you are unsure of what Reaticulate is, it's a custom script that acts as an articulation management system for REAPER. If you use Reaper and want the functionality of Sound Variations, Expression Mapping, etc., then check out this amazing script as well as a few posts I've made on how to set it up and use it effectively:

    Notes on use:

Thanks to the consistency of the SYN Woodwind's articulations, only four banks (Woodwinds Solo, Woodwinds Ensemble, Woodwinds Tutti, and Woodwinds FX) are needed.

SY Woodwinds Solo, for example, works with Flute I, Oboe I, Contrabassoon, etc., etc...any solo instrument. The Ensemble bank works with all four a3 ensembles, and so on.

At the top of the Solo bank are three articulations used for vibrato control (Con Vib, Senza Vib, and Vib X-Fade). Reaticulate allows group assignments per articulation, so these articulations can be selected and activated independently of the rest. This is made even easier with the Synchron Player's tree/dimension functionality.

    Enjoy!

P.S. I will update this post once the second solo instruments are added to the library.
