    I am using VEP7 on a Mac mini with 32 GB RAM, sequencer is Digital Performer. 

    I have some instruments loaded into a VEP project, mostly East West Symphonic Orchestra.

    Frequently, after working properly for a bit, suddenly I only get the first few moments of all the sounds.

    And then, a bit later I get no sound from VEP.

    It seems to me it stops loading from the hard drive and is only playing from the RAM. The RAM is not overloaded. The sounds are on a dedicated 7200 RPM external drive.

    I've tried several things to "reload" the sounds without success. My only solution is to reboot.

    Any ideas why this is happening, and/or how to reload sounds without having to reboot?

    Hi Jon, 

    Sorry for the late reply. 

    Sounds like loading troubles in PLAY... best to contact my colleagues at East West directly. 

    VE Pro is "only" the host there, so it doesn't have anything to do with the content that is loaded into the hosted plug-ins.
