Inserting Key Switches in Dorico

Is there a simple way to insert Dimension Tree key switches into a Dorico Flow?  Most of the time, the articulations in Dorico trigger the correct samples in VSL -- but there are times I want to be able to override with a key switch of my own choosing.  Second, how does one trigger the velocity crossfade feature in the Syncron Player from a command within a Dorico flow?  Thank you!

Hello CB3,

If you do not want to write actual key switch notes into your score (not recommended due to conflict potential), I suggest you extend the existing expression map with what you need and trigger that via a custom articulation. Velocity X-Fade is tied to a CC value inside the SY Player. To write custom Vel FX data, go into the PLAY view. You find more information in our optimization section of the VSL for Dorico guide:
