Hi all, new here, just picked up VSLEpro7 this weekend.

Someone on facebook told me that adding lots of inputs and outputs to instances causes a load on the system.  Does that sound right?  I would think it's only true if you're using them.

The odd thing is I was getting cracks and pops so I changed my settings from 32 in/32 out (it was defaulted when I installed it) to 8 in/8 out and the pops and clicks stopped.  

Is it true?

Hi!

Yes, this is correct. In some DAWs, like Cubase, you can manually enable/disable outputs, so these will not cause any load regardles of the setting in VEP. This way you can enable only the outputs you really need for each instance.
