    I don't know if I'm too stupid or if this function just doesn't exist. I know I can merge instances, but is there a way to merge different channels of an instance too ? I have multiple Kontakt channels and would like to merge them into one, because purging would be much faster this way.

    Hi Goldstein,

    I am afraid that merging channels is indeed not possible in an VE Pro instance.

    The only thing you could do is to manually load your various Kontakt patches into one Kontakt multi-instrument and create outputs accordingly, then set the MIDI Input channel to All and create corresponding Aux Input channels in VE Pro.

    Hi Marnix, thanks for the reply. I realized a bit later, that this is a quite narrow minded question from someone with mostly Kontakt in his template. Of course it doesn't make sense merging channels, when you can have all kind of plug ins in your instances ;-)
