In the world of VSL, there's no such thing as a finished template....
Fantastic.

Ditto re: the free SYzd Woodwinds expansion.
That's great, because I wasn't happy with the legatos in the SYNCHRON-ized version and returned it. You definitely hear the difference between the "pure" legatos and the "XF" legatos.
I always wondered why you couldn't have both approaches combined. First, you hear the dedicated interval, and at the end of the landing note there is a crossfade into a sustain. Would this make any sense?
Crap! Now I really consider to buy it again. :D
But, please, VSL, integrate "Interval Map" into the Synchron Player; all my VI templates are based on it. I will insist over and over again until it's done. Would make me very happy, but I can understand that it might be tricky to integrate in the dimension structure.
Hi!
Thanks for the feedback, everybody! Glad to see you happy!
To address some of your questions:
@Pixelpoet:
- The reason for going with the legato-sustains was that in our perception, many people complained about the short legatos. We know better now.
- Not sure Interval Map will happen in the SY Player, but I know that won't keep you from reminding us. If you have a good idea on how to make this work, let us know!
@MMKA:
- I'm afraid I can't make any promises here, but let's see what the future brings.
Best,
Paul
Hi everybody
We just added a small Library Update that fixes the fact that the default preset was loaded without an impulse response. Mixer presets always worked as usual.
Here is a link to the changelog!
Best,
Paul

I think it could be implemented rather easily, but I'm not a programmer. I attached two screenshots: 1) with the original layout as in VI Pro, and 2) with first note and repetitions split.
My VI Pro templates are based on Interval Map, so I can have a marcato attack only on the first note of a phrase. Always wished that it could differentiate between first note and repetition, too (as in my screenshot #2).

This was brilliant, I really love it.
Great improvement, and very fair treatment of loyal customers. Congratulations for both the decisions!
