  • Vel FX in Synchronized Dimension Strings

Edit. Think I found it under the individual players. Bit of work, but only once;)

Just got the Synchronized dim strings. As the original in one of my absolute favourite string libraries, I was looking forward to use the new mastered and better organized samples. In many ways they are better, but I still consider going back to the old, because I can not find a way to set up the short notes to be controlled by velocity and the longs by a cc on a permanent basis. You have the global on/off velfx switch (cc28,) but seriously, it is not an elegant solution having to insert a separate midi message in to be allowed to use the most efficient dynamic control for any given articulation. It is a complete workflow killer. Hopefully, there is something I have not figured out. Or is it really meant to be this way?

  • Hi Gaute,

I think you are looking for the slot EDIT tab, also see attached screenshot! Make sure you have selected a slot that actually contains an articulation (always farthest to the right in the Dimension Tree).

  • I found it;)

But, there are so many cells to change. Is there a way to group a column and then do the edit?

  • Hi Gaute,

I'm afraid that's the only way I can think of.
