    Hi,

    VelXF presets require CC1 for controlling dynamics. You can use CC28 to turn the VelXF control on/off.

    I created articulation sets for Logic and expression maps for Dorico with automatic switching of CC28 depending on the articulation (modulation for longs, velocity for shorts).

    If I want to use my maps, and at the same time use either velocity or modulation for everything, I don't need a new set/map without the automatic CC28 switch. I can simply replace CC28 with something else, like CC29, in the player. CC28 messages will therefore be ignored, and the status of the VelXF switch will remain the one I chose manually.

    Every cell has an on/off switch for velxf.

    But I want exactly the opposite. I don't want it wired, but to be free to have it wired by using the map programming, and alternatively be free by ignoring the programming in the map.

    You can even right click on the XF on/of button in Synchron Player and choose for "non". In that case no midi signal or key command can trigger the button.

    Indeed in the "edit" menu you can make a choice for each cell to have always Velocity XF, never have Velocity XF or make the Velocity XF of that cell dependant on the button in the "Perform" menu (the "global" setting).

    As far as I can see in for example the Ganymede library and the Big Bang Brass libraries all cells have the "Velocity XF global" setting in the presets, so they are in the presets dependant on the button in the Perform menu.
