  • NEW eLicenser Control Center 6.4.12.1272

    Hello everybody,

A brand-new version of eLicenser is now available for public download!

    • Replaced the technology to communicate between protected applications and eLicenser with a more reliable alternative.
    • Make communication with USB devices more resilient.
    • Implement on-demand logging that can be enabled via GUI.

We have had very good results in the testing process, so make sure to update asap, and let us know if you encounter any troubles.

    Best,
    Paul

The new version sin 6.12.4.1273 to be precise.

  • Hi all,

since this update I have a Server connection issue.

I do not know what Steinberg has made here, But this is the biggest crap-update of elicenser ever!

For the First time ever I can not update or install licenses.

At the moment I want to upgrade the license for Spectral Layers 7 and to install the new license for the latest BBO Neptune. IMPOSSIBLE ... I changed to another PC ... same problem ... I pulled the elincenser key out of the usb-hub  and put it into an own port ... no effect.

Are the issues known? I looks like there is a Server Connection issue ... never had this before. I did not change anything on my installation PC which is most of the time only used for test or installations.

Maybe the next Version will fix it ... hopefully ...

  • Hi LAJ,

Surprised to read such a typical support request in an announcement thread...

Those are not known issues, and this version of eLicenser is performing really well, in our eyes.

If the connection to the eLCC server was not available, this should only be a temporary thing. Do you want to send some screenshots to support@vsl.co.at, wso we can check?

This is on Win 10, correct?

    Best,
    Paul
