How to set up more than 16 midichannels per instance in Logic Pro X???

Hi

 

How do I set up more than 16 midichannels per VEPRO7 instance in Logic Pro X???

I read that it should be possible to route more than 16 Instruments via a second multi-Kontakt in the same instance by routing it into the 2nd midichannel of the same instance plugin.

But I cant find any option for that inside the plugin I insert in Logic. So my routing would look like this:

1 VEPRO Instance

1st Kontaktinstance named x routed IN: 1 VE PRO Plugin MIDI In 1; OUT: ALL

-> 16 instruments inside routed to stereo out 1-16 and Midi Channel In 1- 16 where for example stereo out 1 and Midi In 1 are assigned to the same Instrument so same numbers for all 16 instruments.

2nd Kontakt instance routed IN: 2 VE PRO Plugin MIDI In 2; OUT: ALL

again 16 instruments inside routed to stereo out 1-16 and Midi Channel In 1- 16 where for example stereo out 1 and Midi In 1 are assigned to the same Instrument so same numbers for all 16 instruments.

 

now the VEP7 part should be done and the Logicpart would look like

I add Softwareinstrument Track Multitimbral with 16 Parts ->empty strip

I insert first VEPRO Plugin Multi Out 16x Stereo and connect to instance x

Then I add another Softwareinstrument Track Multitimbral with 16 Parts ->empty strip

I insert first VEPRO Plugin Multi Out 16x Stereo

BUT now I cannot connect to the same Instance!!!

 Please Help.

You need to use the AU3 plugin version.
