Standalone works Vsti doesn't on Mac OS

Hello Forum,

I installed vi instruments on my mac (mojave) only the vienna instrument not 

the ensemble, the standalone is working and all my libraries are in there but

when I open it in a daw it doenst seem to work. 

Searched a bit but didnt find anything helpfull. 

(the vst is shows empty in my daw, see picture)

Hi!

Make sure you have updated all componentes and Vienna Ensemble.
Also, could you please add more information about your setup?
DAW + exact version number, Ensemble exact version number, eLicenser exact version number.

This will help us to investigate this issue.

Thanks for the fast response!

 

I've installed: vienna instruments & Vienna Ensemble software 6.5 (macOS) build 18860

Once with the Ensemble and once (after deleted) without the ensemble. 

Are there more updates to do? 

Setup is macbook pro 2012, Ableton Live Suite 10.0.1 (but doesnt seems to find it in logic X to)

eLicenser version 6.11.10.2266

A shot in the dark: Try to install both VI and VE... does that change anything?

Thanks for the advice, I installed the instruments and ensemble togheter and that wasnt 

working,..

I installed instruments first and then ensemble seperate. that seems to work

strange.. but nice to see that it works!

Thanks for the udpate, 

Still weird.... I'll have an eye on it!
If you don't need Vienna Ensemble, you can of course also delete the plug-in files (components, VST...), that shouldn't do any harm.
