  • Dorico expression map for Synchon Strings I

This is a new version of my expression map for Synchron Strings I. Enhancements:

    • The previous expression map sent five or six extra MIDI messages per note; this one sends only two.
    • You can use the Dorico automation lanes to control the level of vibrato using CC 1.
    • You can use the Dorico automation lanes to control the degree of marcato using CC 20.
    • The _sforzato_ (_sfz_) patch is now supported.
    • The mutual-exclusion groups have been reorganized somewhat to make them more consistent with other VSL instruments.
    • I probably added a few new bugs. 😊 Let me know.

This is a fix for a bug in the Synchron Strings expression map I posted yesterday. Too much copying and pasting; I set the entityID of the expression map to "xmap.user.woodwinds" instead of "xmap.user.synstrings". On it's own, that works fine, which is why I missed the issue while testing. But if you try to use the SynStrings and SYzdWoodwinds expression maps at the same time, major issues arise because they have the same entityID. This release fixes that problem; everything else is unchanged.

  • Hello Mike,

Thank you for posting your work. I shall try it out, and possibly add expressions if you don't mind (as I'm working on other libries as well).
