    I'm getting a strange issue (and I can't seem to figure out specifically what's causing it) where ONLY ocassionally, my VEP7 (latest catalina build 7.0.926) wil suddenly start eating MASSIVE amounts of my CPU for no reason at all, even when it's sitting idle and I am not playing back from the DAW. 

    I'm on a brand new 2019 24core Mac Pro, Catalina 10.15.2 - When running a my big template, normally, the CPU% for VEP7 in activity monitor will idle around 70%.  However, when this happens, it jumps all the way up to 700% and stays there indefinitely...again this is while IDLE.  The other day it happened simply after saving.  Just now, it happened after I saved a multi in omnisphere.  Only way to fix the problem is to quit and restart.

    Note, this is unrelated to my other thread about Sound Toys plugins as there are currently none inside the VEP7 template where this occured.  

    Any insights or bug fix/updates are greatly appreciated!

    Hello Evan, 

    That sounds like a plug-in in VE Pro is acting up. If you can find any way to reliably reproduce this behaviour, we'll have a better idea... 

    I know that's hard to pin down in a big setup. How often does that happen? Any VERY exotic plug-ins in your setup?
