Do you mean Room Mix ?

Click once on the the Channel Label - that will turn the Channel On/Off.

The great thing about the Synchron approach is you can create seperate instruments in effect just by turning off all bchannels except the Close Mic (CL) channels eg. WW-CL (WoodWind Close) with everything else muted gives you a very focused Woodwind instrument - definitely one of the Synchron Player's strengths.

Yes, I see that. What I am experiencing is that when I trun the other channels on by clicking their associated label on the mixer the only one that I get audio from.

If you take a look at the link below I have recorded a short screencast.
I am playing notes and turning the channels on but only the Main Mix and Center seem to be playing as expected.

Thanks so much for the help.

The only thing I can see that looks wrong is:

Underneath the MIX tab label (to the right of all the Mic channels) you have the  PRESET option to choose different Microphone Arrays.

I suggest switching through a couple of those choices and see if that works.

Your screen shows the PRESET name to be in a Black coloured font whereas they are always a fairly unreadable White colour on my screen.

    Yes,
When I switch presets, it yields the same result and does not allow me to hear the additional channels for some reason. I have also checked my installation and it seems that all of the additional files are there. It seems I might not be understanding how to load the additional mic positions but if I load the main BBO preset I would think everything would be available?
    Thanks for the help.

  • Hi, this looks fantastic!

Is the product being available for free time-sensitive at all? My computer is down at the moment, so I'm wondering if I need to download the product now or if I can wait for a few weeks to get everything sorted first.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Simeon!

This really looks a bit odd. Are you sure you installed all microphone volumes? If you check out the folder, you installed your sample volumes into, you should see a bunch of *.vsynvolume files. If I am right and you accidentally didn't install all mic volumes, you should only see BBO_Patches.vsynvolume (this is where your patches live), BBO_01_Main.vsynvolume and BBO_02_Main-C.vsynolume. And no other BBO vsynvolumes ...

If so, please reinstall your sample content. If not, you should contact our support at support@vsl.co.at to get this sorted out.

  • Awesome timing. I was trying to figure out if the Synchron player would suit me. Now I got a great demo. Next step will be to find out what library that is best suited to complement it. I am looking to create som cinematic video trailer intros so I guess I need deep strings and possible so low solo brass, right?

  •

Hello all I just downloaded the library but it is not recognized by synchron player. What is the problem?

    Hi,

Take a look at the Synchronized Special Editions Volume 2 and 3 (and listen to the demos).

Please open the Download Manager and check if you haven't installed the library. If there is an "INSTALL" button, click it and proceed with the setup.

  • * MIC POSISTIONS SOLVED *

    EUREKA!

When I opened the Synchron player it notified me of an available update which I installed.
I looked at some of the settings and selected the Force Enable All slots and loaded the BBO preset again and all I can say is WOW! Being able to hear this as intended is an amazing experience.

Thanks again for making this available and hopefully this will not be the end of being able to sample the other wonderful offerings in the VSL catalog. Amazing, creative artists indeed!

    Joyfully,
    Simeon

The Big Bang Orchestra is fantastic for a free library. I 'll use it in one of my next songs. Working with Cubase10 pro I created an Expression Map for the BigBang. You'll find it in the attachment. Have fun with it!

  • I know, read the manual, but I must ask...Is it possible to have sections on certain channels, Violas on ch 1, Cellos on 2, Perc on 3?

  • No. But you can use spot mics to isolate sections. Paolo
