    N.B. From experimentation I have determined that this problem is not a VSL issue.

    Normally I use CC11 for local dynamic changes and CC7 for global dynamic settings. (see attached image).

    Very occasionally however, for some reason, CC7 does nothing at all, and I can't see why. Vel XFade is on in the Perform settings, the patch Velocity XFade is set to global, but no CC7 changes have any effect on the sound. (CC11, CC1, etc. all work normaly).

    Any ideas what is going wrong?

    I didnt see any attached image, but on occasion, I end up having to reset MIDI for occasional glitches like this. I dont end up with stuck notes, I end up with stuck CC data. MIDI is like an over complicated house of cards, its amazing it hasnt fallen apart. The whole thing feels so fragile. I wonder if that isnt what is happening with your CC7 data. Do you have any way of looking at what the realtime value is for a specific CC?

    Finally solved this. It was a setting in my DAW that somehow switched off. It's fine now.
