Synchron player, wait to disable 5.1?

I'm trying to learn synchron player, and often use multi outs, but the problem I'm running into now - is that if the track I'm using has 8 outs(for 4 different stereo sends) it automatically switches to 5.1 and I'm not sure how to turn that off. 

edit: using the VST2 plugin instead of the VST3 plugin seems to work around this. I suppose this thread might still be useful for others who might run into this
