    Hi civilization 3,

Are there specific impulses for Smart Spheres or FX Strings? The only thing showing is the Epic Orchestra set here.
Latest versions, incl of VEP 7.

=> FX Strings don't have any IRs, as they were recorded with multiple mics.

=> Smart Spheres were created without IR as well.

Thanks, Paul. Much appreciate the help. I have a job coming up in August, for which I'd like to use the Synchron SE. Hopefully we'll be able to get this sorted before then. Best, -T

  • Just a friendly bump... Trying to get this sorted. Much appreciate the input.

  • Hi,

i have the same problem in Cubase 10.0.30.

    I can only perform a real-time rendering.

I have re-done the same project in Studio One 4.5 and there is no problem there.

    Peter

  • Same problem here with Synchronized Dimension Brass here. Not only missing IR when render in place, the IR is missing when connect to VEP with new project. Cubase 10.0.30, Latest version of Synchron player, VEP 6.

  • Update: Same behavior with latest version of SYNCHRON Player... 1.1.1680

  • Hi all,

We were able to reproduce the problem with the missing/vanishing IR´s in Cubase with the VST2 version of the Synchron Player plug-in (VST3 seems to be fine though) and the issue is currently being investigated - thanks for your (ongoing) patience!

    Best, Marnix

Hi Marnix, Excellent news. Hopefully this will lead to finding a solution of this issue. Thanks to all at VSL for their (continued) hard work. -T

  • Hi,

I have a quick question: Why are you using VST 2?

    I'm not (see attached)...

  • Hi,

Good to know. Like Marnix wrote, we could only reproduce this with VST2, but we will check again.

    Thanks,
    Paul

  • Hello guys,

I have the same problem here, and after many tries I noticed :

A few Ir disappears when I change the Asio guard setup in Cubase or the Sound card Asio buffers.

    Hope that helps

    Best

    Ole

  • Tested the beta in Cubase 9.5 & 10.0.30... Freeze/unfreeze, render in place, realtime and non-realtime mixdowns work perfectly now! A big thanks to Paul and the VSL team for getting this done.

    Best,

    -T

Did you test it within VEP 6 (or 7) or creating instrument track in Cubase? The current version of Syn player doesn’t work well inside VEP 6 during exporting offline in Cubase, Cubase just stop responding.

My testing only involved instrument tracks within Cubase. I'm not using VEP in my current setup.

Just installed the beta version of the Synchron Player and use it within the VEP 6, it just make everything extremely buggy (eg. some of my Synchron Player instruments produce no sound, beach ball is frequently rolling when doing any action in Cubase Pro).

Now I'm rolling back to the latest version from VSL and really hope the newly update version will be bug free, perhaps.
