    Has anyone noticed that if you add all 16 channels for Kontakt in an instance of VEP 6, the output from channel 14 gets routed to both 14 and 15. And the output from Channel 15 gets routed to only channel 16, and Channel 16 just does not work. I have checked just about everything on my side and can conclude that it is likely an issue with VEP.

    I am using Studio One 4 and VEP 6 on Windows 10.

    Hi Shaiket,

    It is crucial to check "Make this your default configuration" after setting up the Kontakt outputs , then save your project and restart VE Pro - does that make a difference?

    I struggle with Kontakt and multiple stereo outputs inside Vienna Ensemble Pro

    No I didn't tried out what Matrix said since I don't think that's the root cause of this issue.

    Instead, I did a pure Kontakt test by loading up 16 instruments and activated all Kontakt outputs in Cubase. The routings are all fine, each channel goes to the designated output.

    And as I put the same kontakt setting in VEP and add multiply (15) aux channels to match each kontakt outputs, the routings just got messed up. So I would guess that the communication between Kontakt and VEP might have some issues.

    The software I used are as follows:

    MacOS 10.12.6
    Cubase Pro 10
    Kontakt 5.8.1
    VEP 6.0.17011

    Try what marnix said. That solved my issue.

    yes this helped.

    a fast workflow would be:

    -load 16 slots

    -autom. assign easch slot to an individual output (shown here) and then make the whole output config as DEFAULT (shown here)
