    Hi

    I have a project in which I've loaded the Solo Flute 1 from the VI Series. In MIR Pro, I've entered "5 m" for the width of the instrument and it works fine. But when I open my project again (in Logic), the width of the Flute comes back to "2 m". Is it normal ?

    I'm astonished that you're able to increase the width of the solo flute's Instrument Profile to 5 meters at all.  8-/  This should only be possible in case of ensembles or General Purpose profiles.

    Would you supply us with a screenshot, please?

    Well actually it's possible when you enter the number manually in the value field. (even 10m if you like :P )

    But the maximum amount you can get with cursors is 2m, then when the set up is loaded it goes back to maximum default.

    Obviouslythe question should be ?WHY? you should enlarge a single player to 5 meters? But the "think MIR" rule is what sounds good is right... :)

    Ah! It seems that the deliberate limit of "two times the original width" for solo instruments is not observed when typing in numbers, but applied nonetheless when recalling these settings. That's an oversight, it seems.

    I'll forward it to MIR Pro's software engineers.
