  • StudioOne wierdness

I don't know if this is a bug in MirPro or a bug in StudioOne 4.5, so let me ask here and see where it gets, I'll report it to PreSonus if that makes sense.

Basically if I use the VST/AU version of MirPro inside StudioOne..it all works fine.  However, if I put an instance of the plugin on a track..and then later remove that plugin or even delete the track...the icon is still present in the MirPro main stage window.  If I do that a few times, pretty soon I have a whole bunch of orphaned instrument icons on stage.

I am new to StudioOne, but I can't find any other references to these removed instances of MirPro, but obviously something is hanging on to that connection somewhere in studio one I think...  but does anyone have any knowledge or ideas about this?

  • I've never seen this before, sorry to say so. But as a matter of fact Studio One is one of the few DAWs I don't run into regularly, so it might indeed be a host-specfic issue.

If you find the time please send a message to VSL's support, with a reference to this thread. I assume that there's the possibility to test the issue in-house with a recent version of Studio One. Please include as many technical details as possible (repro steps, OS, software versions, CPU, RAM size ... you know the drill ;-) ...)

    TIA & kind regards,

  • will do.  I will send a report to PreSonus too.  I'm guessing that is the problem, but just in case I will send to VSL also.
