Over the years I've built up my VSL collection by buying when things are on sale. Since the arrival of Sunchron, I've been reluctant to buy more VI libraries, and have not.  Because there's no road map for the future of either VI or Sunchron I've held off buy much of anything.

Am I alone in this quandry?

There arent many Synchron libraries, and most of the Synchron libraries affect both Synchron and VI (I know the Dimension Strings does add this library for both VI and Synchron). I wont disagree that the decision to have two different playback engines for Vienna libraries is a bit confusing to me. It seems like it would make more sense to convert the VI library to the Synchron format and vice versa and provide the option, because from my standpoint, the entire purpose of my choosing Vienna was Instruments Pro. The UI clicks with me, and for the life of me, I cant seem to be productive with Synchron. In Synchron, Im lost... It helped to watch Guy Bacos working with Smart Orchestra, that gave me some ideas for how to more efficiently use it, but it still doesnt work for me.
