I'm triyng to use Vienna Ensemble (free version) as a vst host. I don't need to play midi live but I need to add effects to an audio input. I found some other softwares ready to do this, but as a Vienna user I wanted to know if this is possible

Hi Gippo,
VE was not designed to work as effect host for audio inputs, but as VST instrument host.
Anyway, the free VE version does not provide the functionality to route audio signals to the VE instance, but the VE Pro version does provide a audio-input plugin.
