MIRx in Synchron

Hello all,

I bought the MIRx Teldex to go with VI Pro 2 and thinking about getting into the synchron-ized Chamber Strings. Can I use the MIRx responses in Synchron or is it completely redundant?

Hi Thomas, 

MIRx is the "smaller brother" or MIR Pro and the data will not work with MIR PRO. 

But you should check out what MIR PRO can do for you... I just sent you demo licenses for MIR PRO 24 and all RoomPacls ;-)

The Teldex will also work quite well with our Synchron Series products, but of course the room repsonse is different.

Thanks Paul! Will check the demos out. I was wondering more precisely if these MIRx products will be useable in any synchron product unless I also buy MIR PRO?

Hi, 

Sorry, I have overlooked that aspect in your question.

MIRx is only available with Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments Pro. 

We have applied a similar system to our SYNCHRON-ized products, with an impulse response adding the position at Synchron Stage (included by defauilt), but it is not a compatible system. 

With our Synchron Series products, you don't need additional impulse responses, the microphone positions have captured the acoustics at Synchron Stage perfectly.

MIRx for Synchron Stage is still not ready, I'm afraid... the year was simply too busy.

But it's still on the list.
