The sound of the Synchron strings have been vividly discussed. While I do appreciate the tremedously detailed, versatile and smart organized new library while working in the last Month in many different ambitious projects with Synchron Strings I was likewise in some moments looking for a bit warmer tone.
The reason seem to me quite obvious: all Violin and Viola EQ-Defaultsettings raise the upper ranges and lower the fundament of tha sound even the Default EQ's of the Celli still raise the upper ranges.
Here is how the Default EQ of Violins and Violas more or less look like:

After finishing my latest Synchron-Strings-Projects I now changed exactly those EQ-Settings nearly into the opposite, raising the lower ranges while lowering the upper ranges a bit.

I personally do have the impression that the Synchron-strings doesn't lost their wonderful crisp aspects which are so essential for the impression of realistic strings and also didn't became muddy in any way but just sound to me even a bit more realistic and less sharp as they have done before. IMHO, this might be helpful to unveil the wonderful realistic Stringsound whioch was as irt seems a bit hidden behind Default EQ-Settings which focused to much the upper ranges.
BTW.: I also shut off in all recordings (except the Elgar-Pieces) the built in Default Reverb and replaced it with raising the Mikrophone-Positions that contribute the origiunal Synchronstage Ambiance.
(To listen how that sounds applied to all my Synchron-Strings-recordings just follow the link in the bottomline)
