  • [SOLVED] Help! Where does Vienna Synchron Piano install dll?

I’m having trouble getting Sonar X1 to recognize the Yamaha CFX. I was advised to make sure the path is copied into Sonar. The only path to .dll files I see is in C:/Program files/Vienna Synchron Pianos. I have added that to Sonar but it still won’t recognize it. Is there another .dll file hidden somewhere? What’s up with this? I was also told that the path was shown during installation, so I reinstalled. It never shown me anything. Why is it so hard to install this Synchron stuff properly?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I'm sorry to see that you are having troubles with so many steps. Here is a screenshot that shows the installation step that asks you where to install the plug-in when you install your Synchron Pianos (my VST Plug-in folder is right in the root folder, to keep things simple).

Are you sure this option does not show up when you install the Synchron Pianos Software?

You were also asking for telephone support, which we don't offer, but our US distributor, www.ilio.com, offers telephone support and is still open, if I am calculating correctly.

    Best,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Thank you for this info.  I actualy found the dll files in C:\program files\common files\Steinberg\VST2!  It all worked out.

Thanks for the suggestion of Ilio. I have talked with them in the poast many times and they are great.  Sehr hilfsbereite und nette Leute!

At this point I think I have things figured out but I'll undoubtedly have meore questions as I am learning Cubase at the same time.  😊
