    Dear Synchron Pianos users,

We just uploaded a new version of the Synchron Piano Software, which should improve stability!

  • Thanks.

However, what is "auto-load humanize settings for slots?"

    What are humanize settings?

    God Bless,

  • Well, hard to figure out exactly because SynPiano has no Humanization database (yet, at least a visible one) but it's the option of the Engine that load the Humanization settings for the slot in the Synchron Player. I suppose it's intended to do the same in Synchron Pianos.

(I assume you know them in Synchron Player last version... in case you don't they are a set of little detuning and delays to simulate human imperfection during performance with strings or wind instruments. A possible application to keyboards can be symulate variability of velocity and/or random detuning due to instrument wear-out status etc.)

  • Hi!

I'm afraid that one slipped through from Synchron Player. Humanize is not available with Synchron Pianos, and this option will be removed with the next build.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Paul

  • So it should be unchecked, correct?

    Or does it not matter?

  • Hi David,

I don't think this setting has any influence right now, but I can only check tomorrow evening. To be safe, leave it unchecked.
