    Hello,

so are there any news regarding a Synchron Stage Extension for MIRx or will there be no?

    Greetings,

I have the same question, but unfortunately the above thread does not answer it. Actually it makes it even more unclear since Dietz writes that two alternative MIRx versions might also be released "synchronized" (at that time intended as a pun ;-)). So will there be an independent MIRx extension for VI/VI pro that will allow us to use all Vienna Instrument libraries in the Synchron Stage instead of re-byuing them again one by one as "synchronized" versions?

  • From today's POV there will be MIRx settings for Synchron Stage (hopefully two of them), which will cater for VI / VI Pro and MIR Pro like all previous MIRx releases.

  • That's great news - thanks so much Dietz! I am really looking forward to use the Synchron MIRx :-) ...

  • Thank you Dietz for clarification.

    Greetings,

  • Any news if and when we will get to see Synchron Stage settings for MIRx in the very near future? With the announcement of another synchron-ized library (appasionata strings) I start to wonder, if this is still on the priority list or if things have changed. I sure hope not.

    Thanks

  • It's still on the list, of course. I have no estimated date for a release to announce, though - sorry to say so.

    Thanks for your patience!

  • Thanks for the prompt answer. Even as a longtime owner of MIR, I do like MIRx a lot. Why? It’s easy, it’s fast to work with, it helps to integrate VSL Instruments with Samples from other vendors, all big points for media composers. Also it’s an excellent option for my mobile system. And in my opinion, a MIRx Synchron venue  would be a great/simple way for the early adopters of the synchron series to integrate the new samples with the (huge) library collection we invested in over the years. It would be a welcome sign from VSL that our investments from the past have a future with the new collections, because the current route of synchron products is somewhat unclear to be honest. Now I know, meanwhile I could use the „big“ MIR with the synchron venue, but working with Apples logic pro, this isn’t always practical in the fast paced world of film scoring. In other words, I’m strongly lobbying to speed up the release of the MIRx synchron venue ;)

    Best,

    HK

... no breaking news yet ... 8-) ... but thanks a lot for voicing your interest!

  • That's disapointing news. I'm surprised this is such a low priority, now that we need to mix VI and Synchron instruments.

Dietz must be prioritizing his paying gigs. 😉

But for what it is worth, I also am very excited to have a MIRx for Synchron.

Thank you, Dietz! Still patiently awaiting since the day you've announced it 😉

  • Yes please, would love some presets from the professionals. Synchronized series is great but I would love to see this provided for Mir Pro :-)

  • They're making more money out of us doing the Synchronized versions. ;-)

MIR Pro has a Synchron venue available. We're talking about MIRx here...

  • Hi Bill, I am aware :) I did say presets. But I suspect it won't be for some time while they're synchronizing. But I hope I'm wrong.

  • I have only just started using MIR Pro, and have also only just discovered MIRx and what it can do. I was excited to read that it would do automatically exactly what I have been struggling to do for the past few days. So I excitedly rushed to enable MIRx for my Vienna Instruments so they would fit and match with my Synchron libraries. I was left scratching my head as I could not find the Synchron Stage MIRx preset. I wondered if I not installed the presets correctly, so went looking for it in my downloads section. Nothing.

I'm disappointed to find out this is not available yet. But am glad to hear it is, at least, on your "to do" list.

I'd like to add my voice to those asking for this to be available sooner, rather than later.

    Thank you.
