Sorry if this has been answered already (I looked). Just installed the Yamaha CFX / Synchron player. Mac Pro, OS 10.12.6. The only available installer supposedly installed plug-ins and configured the instrumental files on the drive. But there is no stand-alone Player anywhere. Is this a separate product / install, or what? Would love to try out this new product (to me). Thanks...

MAC Synchron Player?

Hello KeyboardGuy,
Indeed, the Synchron Player / Synchron Pianos Software comes as plug-ins "only", so it works great in any major sequencer.
If you want to use it as a Standalone software, please install the included "Vienna Instruments&Vienna Ensemble" software and start the "Vienna Ensemble" Standalone host. This way you have a Vienna host for your Synchron products that works standalone.
Best,

Thank you! It wasn't immediately obvious, but I finally figured it out. Opened a sequencer and it was there as an expected plug-in. Marvellous product! This keyboard is amazingly responsive and I am able to bring out nuances in sublte compositions (e.g., Ravel) quite unlike any other similar product. I'm using the VSL keyboards as a practicing concert pianist, and the sounds are absolutely amazing. The best available. Period. The Bösendorfer Imperial is wonderful and the new Yamaha is also fantastic. I have the Vienna Ensemble and Instruments products and will check that out as well. Thanks again!
