    Hi All,

    I think there must be an easier way to bounce tracks and sync gigastudio 3.0 with what I'm using, Home Studio 2002 XL. Currently I have to Record the midi passage to .wav using Giga record button, then import the wav into Home Studio. This is the only way to bounce tracks into home studio 2002.

    Does Sonar 4.0 Pro or Cubase allow you to eliminate this step somehow? VST perhaps? I can deal with it but it's annoying, and worth the $600 if it will fix this. Thanks!!!

    If you have Giga and the sequencer on the same machine you can use Giga in Rewire mode much like any other VSTi/DXi instrument. Certainly available in Sonar 3 and 4 and Cubase.

    Hmmmm,

    I should revisit that idea again, then. I tried using HomeStudio Rewire with Giga 3.0 and it was real buggy. However, I didn't do to much tweaking. This would be great if it worked. And yes, that would eliminate the step!!!!!!

    Hey Mattias,

    I fiddled with the ReWIRE mode with Home Studio and was able to find a setting to allow Giga and HS2004 to Run together, AND bounce tracks nicely. Now the only question I have is how do you run the Performace Tool with Rewire...... Thanks. Do you still have to use the VSL midi driver?
