  • Double arrow

Hi. I have used vepro 6 for about 2 years now. And from time to time the mouse on the screen is showing a double arrow. Two arrow pointing different direction. And its not going away before i restart vepro. I have a friend who has the same glitch. I suppose where not the only one who has this little glitches.

I am also having this issue. It makes it a little harder to click on things. I figured out that the double arrow is the window resizing arrow, but it often doesn't go away when I click in the VEP window once I have finished resizing.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reporting!

Which OS are you working on? And which version of VE PRO 6?

Did you find a reliable way to reproduce this? What are the steps to take?

    Best,
    Paul

Yes! I just figured out how to reproduce the problem, and did it several times in a row to test it.

First, my specs: MacOS 10.11.6, Digital Performer 9.52 76360, VE Pro 6.017011

This project has three instances, one for Kontakt 5, one for Vienna Instruments Pro, and one for Play 6.

I use the Mac OS Menu Bar File Menu to select Save Server Project, then after the project finishes saving automation and the drop down dissapears, my cursor turns into a wristwatch that won't go away. I move the cursor around the screen, and when I hover the cursor over the VEP6 Taskbar, I get the double arrow. This only happens if I am in the Kontakt or Play Instances, it does not happen in the Vienna Instruments Pro Instance. In fact, I can get rid of the double arrow cursor by clicking in the tab for the VI Pro Instance. (Nice to know how to fix it!)

    Hope this helps!

  • Since yesterday I have this problem occasionally. It did not occur to me until I added a 12th instance to my template. It only occurs in this instance.

    Specs: Win 10 1803, i5 8600k, 32GB RAM, SATA SSD, Cubase 9.5

  • the double arrow has always been there for me and still is  in vepro 6. happens after saving. have to klick on several instance to get back to normal.

using vepro on 3 pcer with the same isue

    windows 10

    vepro 6.0.18442

    cubase 10.5

  • Happens to me constantly. Much harder to accurately click on things.

  • I'm having this issue as well.

    7.0.1056 - Windows 10

Seems to happen when I Save Server Project (I always do this via the keyboard shortcut - ctrl+shift+s)

The cursor reverts to the normal pointing arrow when I hover over the Instances panel (mine is set up vertically on the left side of the screen), and the top menu (File, Instance, Edit, etc.).

  • same thing, win 10. VSL please fix!

  • Hi guys,

We're having a hard time to reproduce this here....

We assume that you're using the latest Windows updates.

Anything special about the setup? Can you please contact us via support@vsl.co.at, best with a simplified sequencer project and a few steps that realibly create that double arrow?

    Thanks,
    Paul
