I have the problem with the Violins that the velocity with the legato articulation is about 20% lower than with sustain, even though the velocity curve and the Envelope parameters (attack,...) are equal and have no effect regarding this problem. I had expected that I could regulate this with the velocity curve, but it doesn't work...This sounds very nasty. What can I do? Thank you!

Whey you say "the velocity curve doesn't work" are you talking about the velocity crossfade fader (Velocity XFade)? There's a little "on" button down towards the bottom of the fader make sure it is turned on otherwise the fader will have no affect.
Sometimes you need to use the "Expression" fader to smooth out volume inconsistencies. Or you could just write the CC data in manually.
