    Hi there

    Using a Performance Rep file of 5. Am I right in thinking that it ist he first note has the initial attack as the phrase starts and the fifth note has the accurate decay as the bow comes off the string at the end of the phrase? The other three available notes being transient notes within the phrase?

    I am trying to get portato pairs of crotchets on the strings - the first note sounding fresh, the second one ending with a proper finish. I am therefore using just 1 0 0 0 1 with the performance tool??

    Hi Neil,

    Many tempos and articulations (staccato, portato, legato) are available for each instrument, the transition sounds different with each and you can cover different tempos.

    The system you are using seems correct to me.

    the Video Tutorials are shipping already, they should arrive at our distributors within the next 2-3 weeks (shipping is always an adventure, it seems, so I´ll rather be careful with dates....)

    yes, of course, the Video Tutorials feature equivalent Tutorials for every Mode for GigaStudio and EXS24 seperately.
