Havent Synchron Strings been part of the Superpackage?
Now it looks as if the Superpackage seem to be kind of the next legacy-Product-Package and Synchron-Package the "whole and all-new-Product-package".
I would regret that for the following reasons:
- The Owners of the Superpackage have been the most loyal and faithful users of VSL it is nothing wrong with paying credit to their loyalty with rewarding it with superpackage reductions, wich will be cut for a remarkeble part as soon it means just a Synchron-Package.
- The Synchron-Libraries provide Sampling with a completly different Setting promoting the largest variety of let me call it "acoustic authentity" allowing the User to work like the toneengeneer to mix from a bunch of different Microphones recording the same ensemble/section/soloist sample. You know that the dimension-Libraries with MIR focus nearly the opposite not the variety of mikrophone positions, but to controle the output of nearly each single Musician of the ensemble. Both have obviously very different strength and in so far I do appreciate the interest to allow to combine both (via MIR-Synchron-Venue and hopefully Synchonplayer-Versions of the dimension Series) In short imho the dimension Series will scarcly be simply "replaced" by the Synchron Series. Having both will still be the most powerful Orchestra-Tool you can have.
So please keep having both not in any way as kind of being "outdated" but nothing else than the only true "Super-Package" to come.
