vienna Ensemble Pro 6 and Instruments Pro and  Suite Pro and I have no problem with them.

  • Hi,

I have a few questions for you:

What are the specs of your computer?

Are you using a SSD drive to stream the samples from? How is the drive connected?

Did you try with a lower latency of your soundcard?

Did you try with less microphones activated?

There is a CPU meter built in with Synchron Pianos  (between "rescale" and "settings")- how does it look when those glitches occur?

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hi

i have 83 GB in main SSD

all vienna Library installed in HDD inside my Mac Pro 2010

Did you try with a lower latency of your soundcard?

Yes, i put it in 256 samples

Did you try with less microphones activated?

i removed all other tracks and nothing change

  • Hi

    Look at this video

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/s8m7gr8wr3vkqyr/Glitch%202.mp4?dl=0

After this simple test i found like what you see, the broblem in real time only

when record it and playback every thing is perfect

  • I've got the same problem - one big glitchfest. macOS 10.12.6 , 6-core trashcan, 64GB RAM. thunderbolt 2 drive albeit a spinning one, last eLicenser and iLok software. I have to remove Synchron Pianos vst otherwise Nuendo crashes while starting. In Pro Tools 2018.4 the AAX plugin works, but no matter what's the latency or preload buffer settings it just glitches as hell even with only one mic position. All my other libraries and plugs (some of them really performance heavy) work flawlessly. Not a happy customer here.

  • Same problem here, I'm on PC (win 10, 24 GB RAM, Intel i7 hexa core).

Been trying all kinds of things: different settings, different buffer sizes, a single mic position. All in vain, around 70-80 voices the glitching becomes unbearable.

Any ideas, help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hello everybody,

Sorry for the delay. System requirements of the Yamaha CFX suggest to use a SSD drive to get a good performance. With HDD drives, the streaming performance will reach a limit quickly, the more microphones you are using.

You should also increase the PRELOAD time in SETTINGS, I'd stick to 16384 Samples (see screenshots).

    Best,
    Paul

I have it working fine on a 12-core trashcan which has a lower clock frequency than your 6-core, and on a 8-core trashcan at 3,3 Ghz. In Logic using a buffer of 256, rarely - if any - glitches occur. I suggest moving the library to at least a SSD drive, best would be your internal drive.

  • After updating to the new version 1.0.530
    Everything works great

  • Today i installed the Steinway D-274 on my HDD. I had that glitch problem too BUT it seems that you need to install the samples first and then the synchron piano player. I made it the wrong way and it glitched but i could fix it in reinstalling the same Synchron Piano Player again.
