    Hello everyone, 

    I have been looking for a way to see the vienna instruments appear in the preset/matrix/patch section.

    I'm on a Mac 10.13.3, have downloaded the instru first, they are on my desktop. Then have downloaded the vienna ensemble 6 and I put the instruments file on the directory manager. I have restarted the mac and still nothing appears...Can you please help?

    Have you also downloaded and installed the Vienna Instrument Player?

    No I haven't but I can't see it anywhere in my downloads on the vienna website, does it have another name?

    Check the "Software Installers" button in MyVSL.

    Vienna Instruments Player it is in the same package with Vienna Ensemble.

    Unusual you found just the latter (speaking of free version, of course).

    VI Special Edition 1-3, Reaper, MuseScore 3, Notion 3 (collecting dust), vst flotsam and jetsam

    Does this instrument player come in this package:  "vienna instruments and vienna ensemble software 6.0". I have already downloaded it. The other download available in software installers is Vienna downmload manager and I have downloaded it of course to be able to get the instruments.

    Hi Sarah,

    In case you have not already figured it out, yes The Vienna Instruments Player is included in that "package".

    You may need to point the Vienna Directory Manager toward the location of your samples.

    I did it and it worked! So happy!Thanks.😊

    Now I have just to figure two things hehe for now!😕

    It says I don't have enough room on desktop to install the Brass, I want to erase the strings, percussions or woodwinds on it but would they remain on Vienna ense still? ( I know I'm learning! 😉

    Also, I started a project with strings on logic pro x with vienna and I closed it earlier, now, when I try to get back on it everything appears and Vienna start before Logic but No sound!??? Did I need to save the project on Vienna as well as Logic?
