I started a new VE Pro project.
I added a new VI PRO instance, loaded a preset instrument and checked that the feature is unchecked (which is by default).
I added another VI Pro instance, loaded a preset instrument.
When I change the conrol map under Crtl Map (e. g. SlotX via Velocity) in one instance, the parameters are changes in the other as well.
When I reload the preset in one instance it is fixed (overwritten). But when I change the paramter in another instance it is changed again.
Oh, that's weird... Maybe there is a box which needs to be checked/unchecked?
I have the latest updates of VE Pro and VI Pro installed, but I'm still running MacOS Sierra.
I made a short screencast. You will find it in the attachment.
Bildschirmaufnahme.zip-1696337480108-7c6p6.zipHi,
Thanks. Unfortunately that screen video doesn't show the Settings page of VI PRO to check... It would be the normal behaviour when having the Synchronize Control Map option activated.
Just tried the exact same steps you show in the screen video, not reproducible, also on Sierra. Weird.
Best,
Paul
Thanks, Paul.
I missed that, the box is (!) unchecked. Never touched it.
But I figured it out: I checked the box and unchecked it right after. Now it works! Maybe other will have this "bug" in the future. So it's probably a good advice from me. :P
Hi,
I've also just had this exact same problem. I'm on Windows 10. Without having touched anything (I didn't even know there was a feature for synchronizing the control mapping) suddenly I was unable to independently control CC assigments between instruments.
After reading this thread, I found the check box in the settings dialogue but it was unchecked. I checked it, then unchecked it and everything went back to normal. However, I wasted half a day looking for this little bug.
Cheers,
Kevin
Watch my screencast in the attachment. There is a box that needs to be checked/unchecked.
Click on the gear icon on the right upper corner in VI (Pro). There is synchronising feature.
