    I just tried Synchron Strings I the first time. The first thing I did was to search for staccato samples, but I couldn't find any true staccato samples.

    Are there no true staccato sounds in this library?

    Yes I tried them and I didn't get the effect I get from Hollywood Strings or the VSL Kontakt samples right of the box. I will do some further testing today. I assume this has something to do with the mixing of the mics. Maybe the natural reverb takes off the edge.
