    i posted this on another forum, but i thought i'd add it here since after much though, i want to stick with Vienna Instruments.

    I have been told not to invest more in the SE universe and move to the "Real" libraries.

    I have MIRx and a couple of halls as well.

    Thoughts?

    Hi,

    I have Special Edition Vol. 1, Chamber Strings I, and Solo Strings I.

    Thoughts on where to go next?

    SE 1 Plus? SE 2?

    Woodwinds I? Brass I?

    Use - budget tracks for technical animations and personal projects.

    Nothing heavy, but would still like to flesh out my SE 1 library to cover full orchestra.

    I lean solo and chamber, though. Conflicted, i know.

    I would go for the Woodwind I and Brass I if it is in your budget (Standard or even Full):
    - More articulations -> More flexibility
    - More samples -> More lively sound
