    Hi everyone,

    I'm currently in the process of creating a new template with Synchron Strings and I find myself using the time stretching feature of VI Pro a lot. This seems to be a realy time consuming task (processing takes a few hours in my case). The taskmanager shows that only one cpu core is being used though and I was wondering if it's possible to get VI Pro to use more than one core. Does anybody know if this is possible ?

    I've already tried to use multiple instances of VI Pro, but had no success.

    I'm afraid VI PRO is indeed limited to one thread... and I may add that you may want to review the time-stretching results from time to time... quite a delicate task with the recorded reverb....

    Thanks Paul for the quick answer! That's a pity VI Pro doesn't  support multiple threads, I guess I'll have to let it run overnight then. It's true that too big amounts of timestretching give bad results, especially with wet samples. I'm just stretching the initial parts of the notes though and these just very little.

    In my opinion, this works quite well to inject a bit more variance into the samples.

    We'll see what new possibilities Synchron Player will bring to the table. Hopefully, it's going to make my current efforts obsolete.
