I sent to my family and my friends this year my best wishes with a little piece of music, that expresses my thankfulness and gladness for all the good things that happened this year and for the good things to come (yes, there were also very sad things, and there will be more, that's life). I send it by this to all of you with the best wishes for the time to come!

    Thankful

Oh, and for the record: the recorders are not from VSL, the strings are the VSL orchestral strings + a few solostrings, tambourine VSL SE 1 and it is all placed in the Synchron Stage by MIR PRO.

  • I like it. Has a middle ages vibe. Nice.

  • Wonderful, so pleasant and fun. It's nice that you presented an unfamiliar and non-commercial tune. A little surprise and so well performed!

It doesn't really matter, but the mix is a bit unreal (as to volume of the instruments). Maybe the solo strings would function better here. But as said, it doesn't really matter here, it's just a bit of musical fun with very nice sounding instruments.

That's what I also do every year: sending a little pice with our wishes.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Jos

  • Thanks, Jos, for your kind words. I was very aware of the point, that if ever this piece would be played by real instruments, the recorders should have a microphone, but indeed, in this case it doesn't matter at all.
