  • Articulation Descriptions in Player?

Hi, I was using an audition ticket and am quite pleased both with the sounds and with the way they are sorted.

However, one of the things I liked most is how consice and clearly everything was explained. I am specifically talking about the articulations. I have used a few different orchestral libraries, and have always had to go back and forth between the software and the manual to see what the abreviations were. I love how they were written out and described right there.

I am thinking of getting the Special Edition and am wondering if they are explained there as well or if I have to go look outside the player to see what they are.

    Thanks!

  • You can read in the player, which sample you are using.

  • Thank you for your reply.

I am aware that it shows which sample you are playing, but I am asking about the description of the articulation you are using.

For example, if I use the QLeg articulation for a specific instrument, does it explain somewhere in the player what "QLeg" actually means or do I have to read it in the manual?

  • Yes, see the screenshot I made. You can select a cell (arrow 1) by keystrokes, cc controllers, pitchwheel, speed or velocity, or a combination of them. In a cell you can put one or more patches, which you can see at arrow 2. And there you see the name of the patch, sometimes a little bit shortened, but understandable without manual. In a cell you can put more patches, and adapt the volume as you want.
